Coming soon: This article previews the planned Repair-CRM MCP server. The AI connection and capabilities described below are upcoming and are not yet available.

Running a service business means moving between jobs, technicians, customers, parts, and paperwork throughout the day. A customer calls about an unfinished repair. A technician needs tomorrow’s schedule. Someone in the office needs to find the estimate connected to a customer.
Repair-CRM is planning a new way to handle these everyday requests: an MCP server that will let an AI assistant work with your service business data through conversation.
Our approach to AI field service software will focus on practical office work. You will be able to ask for information, create and update jobs, and manage scheduling using plain-language requests.
What is a field service MCP server?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It provides a standard way for AI assistants to connect to tools and data in other software.
A field service MCP server applies that connection to the records a service team uses every day: jobs, technicians, customers, products, and services. The planned Repair-CRM connection will also support queries about QuickBooks invoices and estimates.
For a business owner, the useful part will be the conversation. You will be able to describe what you need and let the assistant use the available Repair-CRM tools to help.
Manage work orders through conversation
The planned AI work order management capabilities will cover listing, creating, updating, and scheduling jobs. That will give office staff and owners another way to keep work moving as customer requests and technician plans change.
Examples of the requests we are planning to support include:
- “Show me the jobs scheduled for tomorrow.”
- “Create a job for a customer’s equipment repair.”
- “Update the description on this work order with the customer’s latest information.”
- “Move this job to Thursday afternoon.”
- “List our technicians so I can choose who should handle the visit.”
These requests will use the job and technician tools made available through the connection. The aim will be to make routine changes easier to describe while keeping the work recorded in Repair-CRM.
The planned ChatGPT connection will bring these work order tasks into a conversation with your assistant.
Find customers, products, and services
A work order often starts with finding the right customer and understanding what the job needs. The upcoming connection will let the assistant query customers and partners, along with the products and services in your records.
You will be able to make requests such as:
- “Find the customer record for Riverside Equipment.”
- “Show me the products that match this replacement part.”
- “Find the service item we use for a maintenance visit.”
This will bring reference information into the same conversation as the job you are managing. Repair-CRM’s existing QuickBooks sync connects customer and product records between the two systems, providing context for everyday service work.

Ask about QuickBooks invoices and estimates
The planned integration will support querying QuickBooks invoices and estimates. You will be able to ask the assistant to find invoices for a customer or look up an existing estimate.
That will be useful when a customer calls with a billing question while you are already discussing their repair. You will be able to retrieve the relevant information through the connection and use it to understand the next step.
The QuickBooks scope described in this preview is information retrieval. Creating or changing QuickBooks invoices and estimates is outside the capabilities announced here.
